Camping Site in Mountains
For the last 4 years, we’ve relied on the Jackery 240 to power everything from our phones and air mattresses to camp lighting and our inflatable kayak. It’s been a solid power source, but with tech advancements, we decided it was time for an upgrade. We’ve purchased the Bluetti AC50B Power Station, with twice the battery power of the Jackery. We go over the top 6 reasons why we chose Bluetti over another Jackery model. It has been a great addition to our Winnebago 4x4 Revel setup.

Headlamps are our main source of light, whether we’re backpacking, camping, car camping, or van life. We’ve tried lanterns in the past but were never satisfied—until now. The OuTask Telescopic Lantern is designed for versatile lighting, with options that make it great for camping, van life, or even emergency use. We break down what makes this lantern stand out, from its unique telescopic design and brightness levels to battery life and portability. Along with showing what’s included in the package, we’ll go over how well it performs, its pros and cons, and who we think would benefit most with using this lantern. OuTask provided us with this lantern to test and review, so we’re sharing a fully honest look at whether it’s worth adding to your adventure gear.

We’re comparing the 200w solar panels, the Renogy Solar Suitcase and the BougeRV Solar Panel. We've used the Renogy for a couple of years, powering a cooler fridge in our rooftop tent using a battery box we built. The BougeRV panel is new to us, sent for an honest review. We see how well it will work in our Winnebago 4x4 Revel as an additional source for recharging the van’s solar batteries. We’ll go over the pros and cons of each panel, show how much extra power they can generate, and help you decide which option is better for your off-grid adventures.
